CREIGHTON
DUNKLEY AND BE_NNETT
LAW OFFICES
1750 FIRST BANK PLACE EAST
PILLSBURY CENTER
7.00 SOUTH SIXTH STREET
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA 55402
TELEPHONC (612) 339-1290
MEMORANDUM
TO: City Administrators of the North Suburban
Cable Communications Commission
FROM: Thomas D. Creighton, Legal Consultant
.7/-
• '1
RE: Final Assessment of Commission
DATE: March 15, 1982
As you know, the North Suburban Cable Communications
Commission is in the final stages of the selection of a cable
company to be recommended in a cable franchise ordinance to
your city councils. None of the cities have been assessed
financial contributions for the operating budget of the Com-
mission since August or September of 1980. At that time you
were assessed $1,000.00 for the number of votes your city has
on the Commission. The Commission has exhausted its funds
and has voted unanimously to assess the member cities one
final time to complete the work of the Commission. The directors
have requested that each member city contribute $1,000.00 for
each vote said city has on the Commission. As your previous
contribution, this contribution will be repaid to you at the
time the franchise is awarded (hopefully some time in August
or September of this year)-
