MINUTES OP' THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMBER 20, 2006 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 20th day of <br />November, 2006 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Ms. Barb Allan <br />Council Member Mr. John Keis <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />City Planner Mr. Steve Grittman <br />City Engineer Mr. Lee Elfering <br />Cable TV Producer Ms. Vanessa Van Alstine <br />City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />COUNCIL Mayor Blesener announced that Council Member Jim LaValle passed <br />MEMBER away on Sunday, November 19, 2006. Blesener noted that Jim has <br />JIM LaVALLE served as a Little Canada Council Member for the past 20 years, and <br />recently won re-election to a sixth term. Jim's many accomplishments on <br />the Council included holding down property taxes, encouraging <br />redevelopment, and providing support to City businesses. <br />A moment of silence was Caken in memory of Council Member LaValle. <br />MINUTES Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-II-275 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE NOVEMBER 8, 2006 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING AND <br />THE NOVEMBER 8, 2006, 2006 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />
