Date Motion by CITY Of L1TIIE CAIU,NA RESOLUTION Resolution Wo. Seconded by RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE I.1 TTI1. CANADA COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AS N1171Ur1) WHEREAS, preparation of the Little Canada Comprehensive Plan was under- taken in compliance with the Metropolitan Land Planning Act; and WHEREAS, the Little Canada Comprehensive Plan as revised is composed of the following documents: Report No. 1 - Planning Tactics, December 1977 Report No. 2 - Planning Inventory, Janna,y 1978 Report No. 4* - Policy Plan /Development Framework, April 1979 Report No. 5 - Housing Plan, October 1930 Parks and Recreation Plan, November 1980 'Report ilo. 3 - Preliminary Policy Plan, February 19/8, was incor- porated into Report No. 4. WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan has been prepared and thoroughly reviewed ) . by the City Council; and WHEREAS. the Comprehensive Plan has been subjected to iuummni ty .and neigh- borhood review and formal public hearings; and WHEREAS, the Corprehensive Plan has been reviewed by adjacent and affected • units of local government; and t WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan has been submitted to the Twin Cities Metropolitan Council for formal referral, and that agency has determined that the Comprehensive Plan as revised is in conformance with regional plans and statutory requirements; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Little Canada City Council: 1. The Comprehensive Plan as revised is approved by the City Council. 2. The revised Comprehensive Plan is hereby certified to the Metro- politan Council. 3. The revisions to the Comprehensive Plan have been provided to adjoining and affected units of government for their comment.
