October 27, 1983 i's;, Mr. James Stellick The Market Place Shopping Center 2900 Rice Street Little Canada, Minnesota 55117 CITY OF LITTLE CANADA RE: Market Place - Conditional Use Permit - Planned Unit Development File No: 758.09 - 83.46 Dear Mr. Stellick: As discussed at our brief meeting at the City offices on this date, I believe it advisable for you to formulate a proposed directional and safety signing system for the drive and parking area for the Market Place Center. This should be done on a scaled plan and the signing precisely defined in terms of type and location. Once you have your initial ideas put down on paper, I am available to meet with you to discuss the proposal which is one of the requirements of the City Council's initial approval of your parking improvement. It would be advantageous to have this plan available for review during the early part of the week of 31 October. The Planning Commission, whose meeting is on 3 November, will undoubtedly be interested in the concepts which you have and you should be present to explain. Our office will also have to have our report on your conditional use permit application completed by the night of 3 November in order to make the Council meeting packets for their 9 November meeting and public hearing.. A simultaneous requirement which you should be pursuing is the review of the drainage as created by the new parking spaces by the City Engineer. Mr. Carley's approval is required in writing and as a result, I would urge that you meet with him or provide him with plans as soon as possible. Please contact me should you have questions.
