There is also a billboard on the property that Lapham derives
income from.
Next reviewed was the Buck Blacktop site at 32 South Owasso Blvd. The
Superintendent indicated that the current building on the site would have
to be demolished. The
Administrator noted that, in the past, the owner has indicated a willingness
to sell.
The next site reviewed was the R & S Automotive property at 38 Woodlyn
Avenue. The Administrator indicated that the property owner is not
interested in selling the entire property at this time for re -use given recent
comments. It was also noted that access to this site would be via Rice
Street.
Blesener suggested that the top three sites were Buck Blacktop, the former
Brings Onion, and the Precision Tree properties. The City Administrator
suggested that he contact these property owners to determine their
willingness to sell. The Administrator pointed out that the former Norm's
Tires property was not included in the list given land use issues.
