In addition to delegates, many <br />members of local park and recreation departments and two Metropolitan <br />Council members attended. After the picnic, Bernard Edmonds the Assistant <br />Director of the Ramsey County Parks and Recreation Department conducted a <br />bus tour of Ramsey County parks. He showed the group different types of <br />facilities which Ramsey County operates such as regional parks, archery <br />ranges, open spaces, gold courses, arenas, swimming and boating areas. <br />One stop which appeared to be appreciated by those in attendance, was at <br />the air conditioned Tamarack Nature Center. It also had interesting <br />nature displays. <br />August General Membership Meeting <br />The focus of this meeting will be on the Metropolitan Waste Control <br />Commission. It will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 1983 at 7:30 p.m. in <br />the Council Chambers of the Falcon Heights City Hall, 2077 West <br />Larpenteur Avenue, Falcon Heights. <br />Ramsey County Municipal Court Study <br />In accordance with the resolution that the. Ramsey County Board of <br />Commissioners passed on May 2. Ramsey County Executive Director, Richarl <br />Brubacker, is now in the process of conducting a preliminary <br />cost- effective study on the Municipal Court System.
