t'ut Your Everyday Typing On Display(
The 620/625/627 Memorywriters auto -
mate the everyday typing chores that
until now were still done manually on
many "new" and "advanced" typewriters.
With the Memorywriter's truly auto-
matic and easy -to -use features, you'll
never have to do manual corrections
again. You'll save hundreds of key-
strokes every day You'll avoid counting
characters and spaces in order to
format a document. And you'll avoid
most of the manual positioning that eats
up so much time and effort.
Here's why: the Memorywriter has a 20-
character display that shows you a
'movie" of what you're typing and what
you've typed! So, you can make all your
corrections and revisions before they
get on paper. The display will also guide
you through complex jobs by flashing
various instructions as you type. But it
is still a typewriter: there's no separate
keypad, no series of coding steps to go
through. Instead, you simply get much
more typing productivity from much
less typing effort, with features like:
Instant Replay The 620 can store
about five pages, the 625 stores ten
pages, and the 627, fifteen pages.
Choose the Memorywriter that fits your
needs. You can play back stored docu-
ments error - ree, as often as you want, at
a rate of 200 wpm, with —if you want —
the right margin justified.
FIND Locate any information anywhere
in a document. Tell the Memorywriter
what you want to find, and it'll display
that information instantly —at whatever
point it first appears in the document.
And, you'll see your changes, as you
make them!
Automatic Forms Layout Now you can
fill in even the most complicated forms
neatly, precisely, automatically. The
Memorywriter "memorizes" a form, so
when you recall a stored form, simply
touch TAB: the Memorywriter will auto-
matically move to each different point
on that form.
Hyphen Scan When you edit a stored
document, some line lengths will
change —and so will the hyphenation. So,
the Memorywriter will recommend the
best places to hyphen in order to keep
the right margin as even as possible.
Delete Forward/Delete Reverse You
can erase the memory backwards or
forwards from the cursor position. The
display will "scroll" the text to show
exactly what you're deleting.
Recall By Document Name No need to
keep a written account of what's stored
in memory Just ask the Memorywriter
to print out a "table of contents."
Plus: Flexibility With a Memorywriter,
you won't worry about having an obso-
lete typing system. You can add memory
as your needs change, and you can even
tie into appropriately programmed
computers and communications
networks.
