NORTHWEST ASSOCIATED CONSULTANTS INC.
September 6, 1983
Mr. John Hogenson
5904 Code Avenue
Minneapolis, Minnesota 55436
RE: Little Canada - Speedy Market
File No: 758.09 - 83.35
Dear John:
Following your departure from the Planning Commission meeting on Thursday
evening, Mrs. Klein appeared and noted some of her concerns relative to
the Speedy Market operation. One of these matters involves drainage which
I have raised to the City Engineer. A second concern relates to fencing
along the south border of the Speedy Market site.
It would seem appropriate if a solid fence could be placed along a portion
of the south property line to prevent car lights from shining into Mrs.
Klein's house. We are suggesting that a fence six feet high be extended
to a point thirty feet east of the Rice Street frontage. To prevent cross
movement of pedestrian traffic to the bait shop through Mrs. Klein's yard,
we are recommending that a four foot chain link fence be erected from the
end of the solid fence, westward to the Rice Street property line.
We are hopeful that these minimal improvements can eliminate any property
owner conflicts and produce a harmoneous physical relationship between the
two neighbors.
Please contact me should you have questions or conmients.
Sincerely yours,
NORTHWEST ASSOCIAT
avid R.
