CITY OF LITTLE CANADA RESOLUTION NO RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO COMPLETE A RECONVEYANCE DEED OF FORFEITED LANDS TO THE STATE OF MINNESOTA, AND TO COMPLETE APPLICATION FOR THE CONVEYANCE OF TAX FORFEITED LANDS PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTE SECTION 282.01 WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada owns certain property subject to a public use restriction, described as follows: Part South of the North Line of Lots 24 & 35 & West of the M.ST.P. & S.STE.M. RY. R/W of Block 13, North Heights, Ramsey County, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, this property was conveyed to the City of Little Canada by the State of Minnesota on October 7, 1977, Deed No. 153921, filed in the office of the Ramsey County Recorder as Document No. 2085209; and WHEREAS, said Deed indicated that the City of Little Canada must use the property exclusively for a ponding area; and WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada has determined that said land is now required for "unrestricted use" purposes; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Raymond Hanson, Mayor, and Joseph G. Chlebeck, City Clerk, be and are hereby authorized to complete a Reconveyance Deed of Forfeited Lands to the State of Minnesota by Governmental Subdivisions for the above described property; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Raymond Hanson, Mayor and Joseph G. Chlebeck, City Clerk, be and are hereby authorized to make an Application by Governmental Subdivision for the Conveyance of Tax Forfeited Lands for the above described property; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and hereby is authorized to file a certified copy of this Resolution and Application by Governmental Subdivision for Conveyance of Tax Forfeited Lands in the office of the Ramsey County Land Commissioner; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council requests the office of the Ramsey County Land Commissioner to determine an appraised price for the above described Tax Forfeited Property; and 99
