ORDINANCE NO 217 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 301.010 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, ADOPTING THE MINNESOTA STATE BUILDING CODE THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 301.010 of the Municipal Code of the City of Little Canada is hereby amended to read as follows: 301. STATE BUILDING CODE ADOPTION 101.010. . ,,,. Eui �,.c;.,1g Cone. The iinnesota State Building Code, established pursuant to Minn. Stat. Sections 16.83 through 16.869, one copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby adopted as the building code for the City of Little Canada. Such code is hereby incorporated in this ordinance as completely as if set out in full. (A) The 1980 Edition of the State Building Code, as amended by proposed rules published in the State Register, dated 11/22/82, and adopted in the State Register, dated 2/21/83, adopts by reference the following codes: 1. 1982 Edition of the Uniform Building Code, identified as "UBC "; 2. 1981 Edition of the National Electrical Code, identified as "NEC "; 3. 1978 American National Standard Safety Code for Elevators, Dumbwaiters, Escalators and Moving Walks, identified as ANSI A17.1 - 1978 and Supplement, ANSI A17.1a - 1979. 4. 1979 Minnesota Plumbing Code, identified as MHD 120 through MHD 135. 5. Flood Proofing Regulations, June 1972, Office of the Chief of Engineers, U.S. Army. 6. Minnesota Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Code, identified. as SBC 7101 through SBC 8505. 7. Design and Evaluation Criteria for Energy Conservation in New Buildings, Additions and Remodeled Elements of Buildings and Standards for Certain Existing Public Buildings, identified as 2MCAR Section 1.16001 through 2MCAR Section 1.16006, 1978 Edition. 63
