PAUL -- A major traffic disruption is expected beginning July 11th as <br />roadway repair crews begin work on a 41-mile segment of Trunk Highway 36 in Roseville <br />and Little Canada, Transportation. Commissioner Richard P. Braun announced today. <br />See map. <br />In making the announcement, Commissioner Braun said the maintenance project <br />calls for extensive concrete and joint repair over the entire length of Highway 36 <br />from Hamline Avenue in Roseville to Edgerton Street in Little Canada. Traffic clod <br />be restricted to one lane in each direction on a 24- hour - per -day basis for a peri <br />approximately two months. Additionally, because of the deteriorating roadway <br />conditions there will be short -term ramp closures - -up to a week at a time -at <br />the interchanges of Interstate 35E and Rice Street. <br />Highway 36 is a roadway carrying 50,000 vehicles per day, and it is expecially <br />busy during peak hours 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. This ongoing <br />traffic restriction will mean significant delay for motorists dependent on this <br />roadway.
