MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING CfMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />June 2, 1983 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was <br />held on the 2nd clay of June, 1983 in the Council Chambers of the <br />City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />The following members of the Planning Commission were present: <br />Peter Costa <br />Gene DeLonais <br />Thomas Ducharme <br />Ray French <br />Karolyn Kingsbury <br />Jim Steele <br />Sharon Timmons <br />Those members absent were: <br />Myers Frattalone <br />Joseph Vitale <br />Also present were: <br />David Licht, City Planner <br />Kathleen Glanzer, Recording Secretary <br />Approving Mrs. Kingsbury indicated that the May Plannin3 Commission minutes <br />The should have indicated that the Planning Commission would like <br />Minutes at least 10 days time to review proposals prior to the Planning <br />Commission meetings. <br />Mr. Costa indicated that the May minutes should be approved as <br />corrected. <br />Glenn Mr. Hageman appeared before the Commission and requested a rear yard <br />Hageman setback variance so that he can construct a swimming pool on his <br />Swimming property three feet from the property line. Mr. Hageman reported <br />Pool that his property ahutts the Water Works property. <br />Variance <br />Mrs. Timmons asked about the hardship in this case. The Planner <br />replied that there is a restriction on the placement of the pool <br />due to the power line running next to the property. This could <br />be considered the hardship. The Planner also pointed out that <br />there would be no future development on the Water Works property, <br />and, therefore, the pool would have no effect on the property. <br />Page - <br />
