MINUTES <br />City Council <br />April lei, 1982 <br />A & W <br />(Cont,) <br />McMenemy <br />Drainage <br />Problem <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 7 <br />Mrs. Nardini conmiented that the State may tell Mr. Brae where his <br />curb cuts are to go. The Engineer agreed and added that the State <br />can make him move present curb cuts. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82 —h -181 — APPROVING THE TIME EXTENSION <br />FOR PROVIDING ANOTHER ENTRANCE FOR THE A & W UNTIL MAY <br />1, 1983 AT WHICH TIME RICE STREET SHOULD BE COMPLETED <br />PROVIDED THAT MR. BRAE SIGN AN AGREEMENT THAT HE WILL <br />COME TO THE COUNCIL TO MAKE THE NECESSARY CURB CUTS WITHIN <br />THIS TIME PERIOD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Forsberg, Hanson, Scalze, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 8, Page 127. <br />The City Clerk reported that the A & W's letter of credit is about to <br />expire. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82 —b -182 — REQUIRING MR. BRAE OF THE A & W <br />TO EXTEND HIS LETTER OF CREDIT TO THE CITY AS A CONDITION <br />OF THE TIME EXTENSION FOR THE ADDITIONAL ENTRANCE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (5) Nardini, Hanson, Fahey, Forsberg, Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 8, Page 128. <br />Mr. Roger Philip appeared before the Council and reported that there <br />is a drainage problem in the MeMenemy area. <br />Mr. Roger Glanzer, Public Works Superintendent, informed the Council <br />that the problem is a result of debree getting caught in an area where <br />a 21 inch culvert joins an 8 inch culvert. The area was cleaned out <br />by a contractor a few years ago by having the contractor cut into the <br />culvert in this area. <br />Mr. Roger Glanzer suggested that the <br />to have a manhole inst. <br />Department could perioc 87 <br />cost would be in the ne <br />solution to the problem would be <br />.ea so that the Public Works <br />.s area.
