Minnesota 5510. <br />612 - 298.512' <br />As I indicated to you in our telephone conversation, I have <br />been authorized by the Board to tender a proposed Amendment <br />of Contract for Water Service between the Board of Water Com- <br />missioners of the City of Saint Paul and the City of Little <br />Canada. The existing Water Service Agreement is dated September <br />14, 1970. The draft proposes to amend that agreement. The <br />changes or amended language would be shown as underlined and <br />the deletions with a strike -out. <br />I would request that you present this to the City of Little <br />Canada for their consideration and approval. If the Amendment <br />is approved by the City of Little Canada at its regular December <br />meeting, it should be returned signed prior to Friday, December <br />16th, so that it can be placed on the Water Board's agenda <br />for its meeting -to be held on December 22nd. Otherwise, the <br />Board would not be able to formally approve this until a later <br />meeting. The next Board meeting would be in January of 1989. <br />I will be out of the office after December 9th. If you have <br />any questions regarding the provisions of the draft after that <br />date, I would ask that you contact Mr. Tom Mogren, General <br />Manager of. the Water Utility, at 298 -4100. Tom Weyandt of <br />our office will be attending the Board meeting on the 22nd. <br />I am providing you with an original and three copies of the <br />proposed Amendment to the Contract which does not contain the <br />Page 17 <br />
