writing. Such work includes: soil borings and analysis, chemical <br />tests, material tests and other tasks requiring specialized equipment <br />or skills. The advice and supervision by the Engineer shall be paid <br />for at the hourly rates noted above; payment for the actual tasks <br />performed by others shall be paid directly to those persons or firms <br />performing said tasks and not through the Engineer. <br />G. PUt3LIC MEETINGS <br />When the Owner requests that the Engineer have a representative at <br />a meeting (specific or all) for advice and counsel in general (not <br />for a specific project) the Owner shall pay the Engineer fifty ($50.00) <br />dollars as full compensation for such time spent at each meeting <br />attended. <br />H. MISCELLANEOUS <br />This includes. all time spent by the Engineer in work not otherwise <br />covered above in which the Owner required engineering assistance. <br />This would include plans and specifications not otherwise covered by <br />Section I of this Agreement and investigations or studies of complaints <br />or special conditions where the Owner determines that the Engineer's <br />experience would be useful. This also includes all time spent by the <br />Engineer in rebidding a project under Section I, if the rebid is <br />required by circumstance beyond the control of the Engineer. <br />SECTION II <br />PAYMENT FOR SERVICES RENDERED <br />A. Statements will be rendered by the Engineer to the Owner each month <br />for any part of work performed to date. Payment shall be due ten <br />(10) days after receipt of this statement by the Owner. <br />R. This Agreement may be terminated by either party after. a 30 day <br />notice and payment of all monies due at the time of termination as <br />Page 27 <br />
