913. "B -W ", BUSINESS- WAREHOUSING DISTRICT <br />913.010. PURPOSE. The purpose of the "B -W ", Business - Warehousing District is to provide for the establish- <br />ment of wholesale and retail trade of large volume or bulk commercial items, storage and warehousing. The overall <br />character of the "B -W" District is intended to be transitional in nature, thus industrial uses allowed within this <br />District shall be limited to those which can cdmpatibly exist adjacent to commercial and lower density activities. <br />913.020. PERMITTED USES. <br />A. Radio and television stations <br />B. Warehouses <br />C. Governmental and public utility buildings and structures <br />D. Cartage and express facilities <br />E. Building materials sales <br />P. Commercial/leased offices <br />G. Transportation terminals <br />H. Research laboratories <br />I. Commercial printing establishments <br />J. Jewelry manufacturing <br />K. Medical, dental and optical laboratories <br />L. Wholesale business <br />M. Private clubs for handball, racketball and tennis <br />* *N. Commercial recreational uses (not including establishments serving alcoholic beverages) limited to: <br />1. Bowling alleys <br />2. Dance Halls <br />3. Skating <br />4. Theater (indoor only) <br />5. Sports and health clubs <br />O. Essential services <br />*P. Open and outdoor storage <br />913.030. PERMITTED ACCESSORY USES. <br />A. All permitted accessory uses as allowed in the "8 -3" District <br />8. Semi -truck parking <br />*C. Open and outdoor storage <br />913.040. CONDITIONAL USES. (Requires a conditional use permit based upon procedures set forth in and <br />regulated by Section 921 of this Ordinance.) <br />A. Open and outdoor storage as a principal or accessory use, provided that: <br />1. The area is fenced and screened from view of neighboring residential uses or if abutting an "R" <br />District in compliance with Section 903.020, G of this Ordinance. <br />2. Storage is screened from view from the public right -of -way in compliance with Section 903.020, <br />G of this Ordinance. <br />3. Storage area is grassed or surfaced to control dust. <br />4. All lighting shall be hooded and so directed that the light source shall not be visible from the <br />public right -of -way or from neighboring residences and shall be in compliance with Section <br />903.020, I of this Ordinance. <br />5. Does not take up parking space as required for conformity of this Ordinance. <br />6. The provisions of Section 921.010,C of this Ordinance are considered and satisfactorily met. <br />Open or outdoor service, sale and rental as a principal or accessory use provided that: <br />1. Outside services, sales and equipment rental connected with the principal use is limited to <br />thirty (30) percent of the gross floor area of the principal use. <br />2.
