AGREEMENT <br />LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES <br />ki It 1,4 <br />RECEIVED <br />SEP 6 1988 <br />City of <br />Little Canada <br />The COUNTY OF RAMSEY, hereinafter referred to as the "COUNTY" <br />and the CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, hereinafter referred to as the <br />"MUNICIPALITY ", entered into this Agreement for the period from <br />January 1, 1989, through December 31, 1989. <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the parties to this Agreement are desirous of <br />contracting for the performance by the COUNTY of the hereinafter <br />described law enforcement functions for, and within the <br />boundaries of, the MUNICIPALITY through the Ramsey County <br />Sheriff; and <br />WHEREAS, the COUNTY is agreeable to rendering such services <br />on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth; and <br />WHEREAS, such contracts are authorized and provided for by <br />the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 1957, Sec. 471.59 and Sec. <br />436.05„ and Laws 1959, Chapter 372. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual undertakings <br />set forth herein, the COUNTY and the MUNICIPALITY agree as <br />follows: <br />I. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />1. The COUNTY agrees, through the Sheriff of the COUNTY of <br />Ramsey, to provide patrol and police protection within the <br />corporate limits of MUNICIPALITY to the extent and in the manner <br />PAGE -23 <br />
