Chlebeck <br />DATE: June 17, 1988 <br />RE: Debi Sinna's Letter <br />Speed Limit on Edgerton Street <br />I called the Sheriff about the traffic on Edgerton Street. <br />They are patrolling it more; however, the traffic is not <br />much. The average speed is 40 -45 mph. They suggested that <br />we try to lower the speed limit on Edgerton. The Sheriff <br />informed me that if the speed limit is 40 mph, people will <br />generally drive 45 mph. We have tried several times to <br />lower the speed limit but the Sheriff's office feels that <br />due to the increase in population growth, the speed limit <br />should be lowered.
