MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
OCTOBER 12, 2006
behind their lots. Amadict felt that clear cutting trees adjacent to their
back property lines would damage the roots of their trees, thus causing
additional tree loss.
Thermis also suggested that future plans show his driveway location in
relationship to the proposed road.
Duray felt that the concept proposal showed an over-development of the
property. Duray felt a proposal with fewer lots would resolve a lot of
concerns and would be a more attractive development.
Ray Hanson, 699 LaBore Road, reported that the Hanson family has paid
taxes on his property for the past 70 years, and he was very familiar with
the development history of the area. Hanson stated that he has never
considered selling off any of his property, and has a certain amount of land
that he wants to maintain. Hanson reported Chat Kevin SCeinert has been a
wonderful neighbor, has discussed this concept development with him,
and Hanson wished him the best. Hanson stated that he understands that
this development will landlock his property.
CANADIAN It was noted that Patrick Johnson has requested that consideration of the
WOODS Preliminary Plat for Canadian Woods be delayed until the November
Planning Commission meeting. It was the consensus of the Commission
to table this matter until November.
ADJOURN Duray moved the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Socha.
Motion carried 7 - 0.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:32 p.m.
Respectfully submitted ~~
~ ~,,i ~.
~~.. <<
Kathy Glanzerv
City Clerk
