Knowledge <br />of these parameters is obtained from construction <br />experience. Because the CM firm is expected to possess such <br />experience and because the CM firm should be engaged to work <br />with the project's architect /engineer during the design <br />phase, the CM process merges the skills of the <br />architect /engineer design firm with the construction knowl- <br />edge of the CM firm.
