AL Cuaz WTI 0 Midwest
3167 Spruce Street
St. Paul, Minnesota 55117
Phone: 612 / 482 -8568
Sept. 20 1984
City of Little Canada
515 E. Little Canada Rd.
Little Canada MN. 55117
ATTN: Joseph Chlebeck
RE; Drainage Problem At Ryan Industrial Park Lot 4, Block 2.
Mr. Chlebeck
I would like to inform you of a drainage problem involving our property.
The rear of the property borders the St. Paul Water Works and every
spring during the snow melt, all the water from Rice St. Flows East to
the Water Works property, there is a small and inadequate drainage
ditch between our property and the Water Works, the end result of all
this is water backing up onto our property and many times it will
back up all the way to our building. This also occures in the summer
when we have large quanities of rain over a short period of time.
I believe the nessary steps to pervent this problem are,
1- Clean & Grade drainage ditch that runs along the Water Works.
2- Clean & Grade drainage ditch that runs east between Art Ryan's
property and Mograns' property.
3- Enlarge & lower culvert under Spruce Street. (Before that
section of road is blacktopped.)
4- Possibly enlarge the drainage ditch between Art Ryans' and
Frank Frattalones' property. (The ditch than flows into
County Ditch 1/16)
I realize that it is late in the year to bring up a problem of this
nature, but any action by the City to relieve the problem would be
greatly appreciated.
Very truly yours,
AQIftkZTM MID EST
Michael A.
