Chlebeck
City Clerk
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, MN 55117
Re: Metropolitan Waste Control Commission Easements
(Lake Gervais Interceptor)
Our File No. 5233
Dear Joe:
Telephone
(612) 222 -2541
NOV R 1984
CITY OF
LITTLE CANADA
As we discussed some time ago, the Metropolitan Waste Control
Commission is in the process of acquiring the necessary easements
for the Lake Gervais interceptor. The appropriate notices have
been served upon the City indicating that Parcel No. 12 is owned
by the City of Little Canada and Parcel No. 13 is owned by the
Township of Little Canada. I am assuming that one of these
parcels is the fire station property.
The attorneys for the Waste Commission have contacted us and
furnished us with copies of certain documents relative to this
matter. In this regard, please find enclosed copies of the
following documents:
1. As to Parcel No. 12, please find enclosed a copy of
Easement Exhibit for Parcel No. 12 with attached
Certificate of Survey from BRW, a copy of Certificate
No. 301071, and the original of a Quit Claim Deed,
with attached Exhibit A, from the City of Little Canada
to the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission, conveying
a 20' permanent easement and 50' temporary easement
for sanitary sewer purposes.
2. As to Parcel No. 13 please find enclosed a copy of
Easement Exhibit, with attached Certificate of Survey
of BRW, a copy of Certificate of Title No. 107932, and
a copy of the Quit Claim Deed, with attached Exhibit A,
whereby the City would convey a 20' permanent easement
and a temporary construction easement to the Metropolitan
Waste Control Commission.
Would you please review the conveyance of these two properties
with Don Carley as to location and necessity of conveyance. If
the City of Little Canada does not anticipate being compensated for
020
