MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />FEBRUARY 9, 2006 <br />AND site, which is zoned Planned Unit Development. Therefore, the City is also <br />REZONING - proposing a rezoning of the land going to St. Jude Medical to PUD. <br />141 COUNTY <br />ROAD B Jim Kwan, St. Jude Medical, appeared before the Commission in support of <br />the property division, combination, and rezoning. He noted that St. Jude <br />Medical is currently consUucting a $24 million addition to its County Road <br />B facility. Kwan noted that the property would be used by St. Jude for <br />ponding. Kwan pointed out that transferring the property to St. Jude will <br />return the property to the tax rolls and will relieve the City from having to <br />maintain this site. Kwan noted that St. Jude Medical will cover any h~ansfer <br />costs for this parcel. <br />Duray felt that the property transfer was awin/win situation for the City and <br />St. Jude. Duray stated Chat the St. Jude expansion is exciting, and he would <br />like to see St. Jude continue to move forward within the City of Little <br />Canada. <br />Barraclough asked if the City is retaining enough land around the booster <br />station. The City Planner reported that the City Engineer has reviewed the <br />matter and feels that the City is retaining adequate property for the booster <br />station. <br />Rheaume recommended approval of the Property Division, Lot <br />Combination, and Rezoning of the property being subdivided from 141 <br />County Road B from Public (P) to Planned Unit Development (PUD) as <br />recommended by the City Engineer. <br />Motion seconded by McGraw. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />ADJOURN Rheaume moved to adjourn. <br />Motion seconded by Duray. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />r _ <br />-- .' ~_ - - ~, ~ <br />Kathy Gla er /x~ <br />City Clerk <br />-3- <br />
