Boettner at 715 Keller Parkway regarding
an erosion problem near the road shoulder extending into the road right of way limits
onto private property. This condition has been called to our attention several years
ago and we have taken the position it is County responsibility to maintain the roadway
surface and shoulders but not to the pine trees beyond.
I have enclosed a drainage report outlining the watershed limits that indicate road right
of way contributes only 21% of the drainage with the remaining 7996 runoff from
residential lands. It is our policy to contribute proportionately to any permanent
drainage improvement that is undertaken.
Please contact our maintenance office at 484 -9104 to discuss any further details in
this matter.
Marvin D.
