ORDINANCE NO.c 3 / <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1101.090 AND <br />DELETING CHAPTER 1102 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA RELATING TO KENNELS <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 1101.090 of the Municipal Code of the City of <br />Little Canada is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />1101.090. LICENSE AND REGISTRATION REQUIRED. All dogs <br />over three (3) months of age kept, harbored or maintained within <br />the City shall be licensed and registered. Dog licenses shall <br />be issued by the City Clerk upon payment of a license fee of Ten <br />Dollars ($10.00) for each dog and shall be valid for a period of <br />two (2) years at which time the license must be renewed. The fee <br />for renewal shall be Four Dollars ($4.00) and all renewals shall <br />be subject to the provisions of Section 1101.110 of this Chapter. <br />The applicant shall give the following information on forms <br />provided by the Clerk. <br />Owner's name and address; name, breed (if known), color <br />and sex of the dog. <br />The provisions of this Section shall not be intended to apply <br />to dogs whose owners are visitors temporarily in the City for <br />sixty (60) days or less, to dogs brought into the City for appearance <br />in a dog show, or to "seeing eye" dogs trained to assist blind <br />persons when such dogs are actually being used by blind persons <br />as "seeing eye" dogs. <br />Section 2. <br />Chapter 1102. "Kennels ", comprised of Sections 1102.010 <br />through 1102.070, is hereby deleted in its entirety. <br />Section 3. <br />This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after its passage and publication. <br />Passed by the Council of the City of Little Canada this <br />day of , 1984. <br />ATTEST: <br />Joseph G.
