NORTHWEST ASSOCIATED CONSULTANTS INC. <br />MEMORANDUM <br />T0: Little Canada Planning Commission <br />FROM: Stephen Grittrnan <br />DATE: 2 February 1984 <br />RE: Housing Moving - CUP <br />FILE NO: 84.02 <br />ZONING APPLICATION NO. 224 <br />FEB 3 1934 <br />CITY OF <br />LITTLE CANADA <br />It is proposed that an existing house be moved to a city - owned parcel <br />on Demont Avenue. The property is legally described as follows: <br />The East 3 of Lot 15, Block 1, North Park, Ramsey County, <br />Minnesota, except the East 156 feet. <br />Section 303 of the Municipal Code lists the requirements for moving an <br />existing building: <br />A. All moves require a conditional use permit. <br />B. A performance is required equal to the cost of a similar <br />structure. <br />C. Inspections must be made. <br />D. Applicant must supply construction, site and remodeling plans. <br />E. City Engineer must inspect site for drainage. <br />F. Landscaping is required. <br />G. Reasons for denial: <br />1. Failure to comply with the ordinance <br />2. Building is too large <br />3. Building is structurally unsafe to move <br />4. Building will be structurally unsafe when it is in place <br />5. The building is worth less than 60",.i of the cost of a <br />similar new structure <br />H. A surety bond is required equal to 1.5 times the estimated cost <br />of remodeling and reconstruction. All work is to be completed <br />within 90 days. <br />I. The applicant roust clean up the site within 15 days. <br />J.
