Rd. B. On Sept. 30, 1983 we received a <br />letter and plan from Barr Engineering Company showing us they <br />were intending to cross our property with a water main. <br />I telephoned Mr. Robert C. Obermeyer on October 4th, 1983 <br />to discuss this matter. I requested and he said he would con- <br />sider running the water main along the east edge of our property <br />and parallel to the Soo Line tracks. I did not want the water <br />main under our drive. <br />I.never heard back from Barr Engineering Co. and to my know- <br />ledge I never signed anything . granting a utility easement for <br />this water main. Construction proceeded without further consult <br />ing me and without my consent. <br />When the construction was apparently done I notified Ober - <br />meyer by phone I was not satisfied with the condition our drive <br />and green area were left in.' Be said they would be corrected to <br />our satisfaction:, To date I am not satisfied. This; spring I <br />expect them to put the drive back in lifts asI did and the lawn" <br />area smoothed and Hydro seeded as it was before they disturbed <br />it. <br />I would appreciate any assistance you can give me since you <br />use our drive daily and your sewer and water maintenance person <br />is aware of our drive being built; with the Jackson Street mate- <br />riots.- <br />Sincerely <br />
