NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSAL FOR A COMMERCIAL FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT PROJECT To whom it may concern: Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, will meet at the City Hall in the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, at 7:50 o'clock p.m. on Monday, March 28, 1984, to consider the proposal of Freeway Land Company, a Minnesota partnership (the "Company "), that the City assist in financing a Project hereinafter described by the issuance of its commercial development revenue bonds or notes (which may be issued in one or more series). Description of Project The Project consists of (a) the renovation and remodeling of three (3) connected commercial office buildings located at 219, 221 and 223 Little Canada Road in the City of Little Canada ( "the Buildings "), including the demolition of interior walls, the restructuring of new office space and the replacement of heating and air conditioning units; (b) the pur- chasing of furniture and equipment needed to furnish the remodeled facilities; and (c) if the Company should designate another partnership (consisting of some of its partners and some new partners) to act in its stead, the acquisition of the Buildings and the site. The maximum aggregate estimated principal amount of bonds or other obligations to be issued to finance this Project is $2,059,000. The Buildings are currently owned and operated by the Company, and the Project will be initially owned and operated by the Company or such other partnership designated to act in its stead. Said bonds or other obligations if and when issued will not constitute a charge, lien or encumbrance upon any property of the City except the Project, and such bonds or obli- gations will not be a charge against the City's general credit or taxing powers but will be payable from sums to be paid by the Company or such other partnership designated to act in its stead, pursuant to a revenue agreement. A draft copy of the proposed application to the Energy and Economic Development Authority of the State of Minnesota, for approval of the Project, together with all attachments and exhibits thereto, is available for public inspection from 8:00 o'clock a.m. to 4:30 o'clock p.m., Monday through Friday, at the office of the City Clerk.
