POLITICAL EXPERIENCE <br />I have been a Democrat all my life_ I first became active as <br />a member of the Young Democrats at St. Johns University in 1962. <br />I became involved in the local DFL party in the early 1970s and have <br />worked for DFL candidates every year since then.. I faithfully <br />attend each precinct caucus and was elected precinct caucus chair <br />twice. I have been a state delegate and a 4th District Delegate. <br />I have been elected a delegate to every District Convention since <br />1974 and have served as District Convention Chairperson at the last <br />three conventions. <br />On June 28, 1988 I became the DFL endorsed candidate for the <br />District 52B House of Representatives seat. While I lost the <br />election I am proud of the excellent campaign we-ran given the short <br />amount of time available.
