NOTICE OF HEARING <br />ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Little Canada <br />will hold a public hearing at 7:30 P.M., or as soon as parties may <br />be heard on Wednesday, August 24, 1988 in the Council Chambers of <br />the City Center at 515 East Little Canada Road to pass upon the <br />proposed assessment of the following improvements: <br />IMPROVEMENT 87 -8 <br />By Sanitary Sewer, Watermain. The area proposed to be <br />assessed is generally all that area lying west of DeSoto <br />Street, north of Allan Ave. extended and east and south <br />of Centerville Road. <br />The amount to be assessed is $187,237.00 <br />IMPROVEMENT 87 -15 <br />By Wheelchair Lift. The area proposed to be assessed is <br />Preperty Identification numbers 05- 29 -22 -33 -0017 and <br />05- 20 -22 -33 -0018 otherwise known as Le Claire Hall. <br />The amount to be assessed is $31,481.25 <br />IMPROVEMENT 87 -25 <br />By Building Demolition. The area proposed to be assessed is <br />Property Identification number 06- 29 -22 -22 -0009 which is <br />located at the northeast corner of Rice and Woodlyn Streets. <br />The amount to be assessed is $6,383.59 <br />The proposed assessment roll is on file with the City Clerk. <br />Written or oral objections thereto by any property owner will be <br />considered. <br />No. appeal may be taken as to the amount of any assessment adopted <br />pursuant to Minn. Statutes 1984 Section 429.061 Subdivision 2 <br />unless a written objection signed by the affected property owner <br />is filed with the Municipal Clerk prior to the assessment hearing <br />or presented to the presiding officer at the Hearing. <br />Any owner may appeal an assessment to district court pursuant to <br />Section 429.081 by serving notice of the appeal upon the Mayor or <br />Clerk of the City of Little Canada within 30 days after the adoption <br />of the assessment and filing such notice with the district court <br />within ten days after service upon the Mayor or Clerk. <br />Senior citizens or retired and disable persons may request a hardship <br />special assessment deferral in accordance with Sections 435.193 to <br />435.195 as follows: <br />PAGE -25- <br />
