AGREEMENT <br />made as of the <br />OWNER: <br />and the <br />CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES <br />first day of February, 1989, between the <br />City of Little Canada <br />515 East Little Canada Road <br />Little Canada, Minnesota 55117 <br />LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT: <br />Sanders and Associates, Inc. <br />365 East Kellogg Boulevard <br />Saint Paul, Minnesota 55101 <br />WHEREAS, the City has need of landscape architectural services for various <br />projects and activities; and <br />WHEREAS, Sanders and Associates, Inc. is duly qualified and willing to provide <br />the services set forth herein, <br />THEREFORE, the City and the Landscape Architect agree as follows: <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />The Landscape Architect shall provide professional services as requested by the <br />City, including, but not limited to, the following: <br />1. Provide park planning and design services, as directed by the City for all <br />park projects including Centerville Road Park, Spooner Park, Gervais Mill <br />Park, Thunder Bay Park, Westwinds Park, Nadeau Wildlife Area, <br />miscellaneous parks and trail systems. The services may include the <br />following services and /or others as directed. <br />a. <br />b. <br />c. <br />d. <br />e. <br />Master Plans <br />Preliminary, Design Development and Construction Drawings <br />Specifications and Bid Documents <br />Estimates of Probable Cost <br />Construction Observation and Contract Administration <br />2. Provide services for the preparation and periodic up- dating of the <br />Comprehensive Park Plan for the City. <br />3. Provide advisory services to the City, including the Park Commission, on <br />all park design and development matters. <br />4. Provide services related to the application for and administration of grants <br />for park projects or other community improvement projects as directed. <br />5. Provide miscellaneous services, such as streetscape /beautification studies <br />for Little Canada Road, landscape design coordination with MnDot, and <br />other projects that may require landscape architectural input. <br />Page 3 <br />
