�t 2<54 MANUFACTURED HOME PARKS: SHELTER OR EVACUATION PLAN: Manufactured home park licensed prior to March 1, 1998, presently must have a plan in place for the sheltering or safe evacuation of residents or have made a good faith effort to do so. Minn. Stat. 5 327.20, subd. 1(6) (1986); park by March 1, 1989, must have shelter constructed on own site or have plan approved by that date or will violate Minn. Humphrey, III, you set forth substantially the following: FACTS There is located within the City of Fridley (hereinafter the "city ") a manufactured home park containing ten or more manufactured homes licensed prior to March I, 1988 (hereinafter the "park "). The owners of the park have filed a plan for the sheltering or the safe evacuation of the residents of the park with the city pursuant to Minn. Stat. 5 327.20, subd. 1(6). The city has not approved the plan_as filed and, in fact, has determined that the plan is not adequate. QUESTION ONE is the park in violation Of Minn. Stat. 5 327.20, subd. 1(6) at this time? OPINION Prior to March 1, 1989, the park is governed by Minn. Stat. 5 327.20, subd. 1(6) (1986). That subdivision requires a manufactured home park to provide for a plan for the sheltering or safe evacuation of the residents in times of severe weather conditions.
