ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 703.080 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, RELATING TO THE HOURS OF OPERATION OF "ON- SALE" FACILITIES AND THE DAYS OF OPERATION OF "OFF- SALE" FACILITIES THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 703.080 of the Municipal Code of the City of Little Canada is hereby amended to read as follows: 703.080. OPERATION HOURS. No "On -Sale" sale of liquor shall be made after one o'clock a.m. on Sunday, nor until eight o'clock a.m. on Monday. No such "On- Sale" shall be made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday between the hours of one o'clock a.m. and eight o'clock a.m.. On Sunday no such "On -Sale" sale shall be made except between the hours of ten o'clock a.m. and twelve o'clock midnight. After August 1, 1989, on Sundays no such "On- Sale" sale shall be made except between hours of ten o'clock a.m. and one o'clock a.m. on Monday. No such "On -Sale" sale shall be made at any time on December 25th, Christmas Day. No "Off -Sale" sales of such liquor shall be made between eight o'clock a.m. or after eight o'clock p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and before the hour of eight o'clock a.m., or after the hours of ten o'clock p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and no such "Off- Sale" sales of liquor shall be made at any time on Sunday. No "Off- Sale" shall be made on Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day, December 25th; but on the evenings proceeding such days, notwithstanding the above provisions, "Off -Sale" sales may be made until ten o'clock p.m., except that no "Off -Sale" sales shall be made on December 24th after eight o'clock p.m. No "On -Sale" licensee shall permit any person to consume any liquor on his premises except within the hours when the sale of such liquor is permitted. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication. Page 77
