VOTO, CPA
ROBERT C. TAUTCES, CPA
IAME$ 5, REDFATH, CPA
0, KENNETH GEORCE. CPA
DAVID I. MCI.. CPA
I have recently met with Mr. Bill Sanders of Sanders and Associates, Inc. to
update the Capital Budget Document for the Park Development Fund. See the
attached Exhibit I and Exhibit I -a. This summary is based upon detailed infor-
mation provided by Bill Sanders. Bill will be sending you copies of such data
for your information. Key elements of this Budget summary are as follows:
A. REVENUE:
1. Donations have been estimated /budgeted at $150,000. Approximately
$105,000 has been received to date (June 30, 1989). If the remaining
$45,000 does not materialize, the City should delay a like amount of
budgeted expenditures (i.e. probably the fencing projects).
2. Grants are from various sources as shown in the underlying detail from
Bill Sanders. Such amounts are normally paid to the City after the City
expends the underlying payments /contracts. Accordingly, such monies
have not yet been received by the City.
3. Transfers In represent annual budget allotments from the General Fund.
The $80,000 for 1990 and $100,000 for 1991 through 1993 are proposed
amounts per Sill Sanders. The City Council will be incorporating these
amounts into future General Fund budgets, subject to City Council appro-
val.
B. EXPENDITURES:
1, All Budget /Proposed Budget expenditures have been summarized from data
prepared by Bill Sanders. Please refer to his detailed information for
individual projects /project costs.
Page 12
MEMBERS OF AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS • PRIVATE COMPANIE$ PRACTICE SECTION
MINNESOTA SOCIETY OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS
MUNICIPAL FINANCE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION • MINNESOTA ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL, BUSINESS OFFICIALS
