TI_I L_- 1 1 - •_ TUE i = _ - S.-1 h4DE F.[ NN D A S SOC I Pt F' C14 <br />Sanders and Associates Inc.. • 365 East Kellogg Boulevard • St. Paul, MN .• 55901 • (612) 221.0401 <br />July 11, 1989 <br />Mayor and Members of the City Council <br />City of Little Canada <br />515 East Little Canada Road <br />St. Paul, Minnesota 55117 <br />RE: informal Bids for Electrical Work at Spooner Park <br />Informal bids were received on July 6, 1989 for Electrical Work at Spooner Park. <br />A tabulation of the bids received is attached. <br />The Electrical Work includes improvements to the main electrical service for Canadian <br />Days, the electrical service at both light poles, the upper and lower shelter and <br />the bandstand, and the relocation of the timer for the tennis courts. <br />The project is part of the Celebrate Minnesota 1990 project with 75% of the cost <br />coming from the park budget and 25% from the State Grant. Although the project <br />was budgeted in the amount of $2,000 the additional cost can be transferred from <br />other line items in the Celebrate Minnesota program. <br />Therefore 1 recommend award of the Electrical Work at Spooner Park to the low <br />bidder, Arcade Electric Company, in the amount of their lump sum bid of $3,870.00. <br />William D.
