Knowledgeable in water surface <br />hydrology, hydraulics, groundwater hydrology, water <br />resources planning, groundwater contamination movement, <br />urban hydrology, and hydrologic computer models. <br />Represented SEH at conferences and seminars on water <br />resource - related subjects at both local and national <br />levels. <br />Experience: <br />Hydrologic Engineer for Storm Water Management Plans for <br />the cities of Roseville, North St. Paul, Vadnais Heights <br />and Shoreview, Minnesota Perform studies of lakes, ponds, <br />and marshes to determine the water surface elevations for <br />the 100 -year storm event. Each study addresses both <br />present and future land use. Based on the data obtained <br />from computer runs, problem areas are recognized, reviewed <br />and analyzed for possible solutions. <br />Hydrologic Engineer for Drainage Studies for Maplewood, <br />Lakeland, Mounds View and St. Paul, Minnesota and Chippewa <br />Falls, Wisconsin Detailed hydrologic analysis of drainage <br />systems which had previously experienced flooding problems <br />or could affect downstream drainage facilities. Several <br />of these studies discussed water quality concerns, <br />recreational benefits and capital improvement needs. <br />Design Engineer for the McCarron's Lake Ditch Improvement <br />Project - Roseville, Minnesota Ditch design required the <br />hydraulic analysis of the most efficient materials for <br />each section of the ditch. Final design included a riprap <br />energy dissipater, gabion drop structure, reach section <br />protected entirely by riprap, and section a of the ditch <br />protected by a riprap bottom and grass side slopes. <br />Research Assistant - Iowa State University Worked with <br />several computer models including: rural and urban design <br />models TR -20 and OTTHYMO and urban models ILLUDAS, SWMM, <br />and OTTSWMM. <br />Page 16 <br />- 18 - <br />
