N I_I IT 1 .o _ T 1_I E 1 ._. ] 1 a. <br />F' . 0 <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT NO. 3 <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Little Canada City Council has <br />called a public hearing on August 23, 1989 for the purpose of <br />discussing and obtaining citizen input on the proposed <br />establishment of Tax Increment District 3 and adoption of the <br />corresponding tax increment financing plan that details the <br />City's participation in a ten year economic development district <br />containing three contiguous parcels currently vacant and <br />undeveloped. <br />The proposed 13,000 square foot retail facility would permit tax <br />increment financing proceeds to be used to write down the land <br />costs for an adjacent residential subdivision and will be used to <br />purchase a right- of-way to prevent the land locking of the <br />subdivision. The projects are in the vicinity of the northeast <br />corner of Rice Street and County Road C. <br />Copies of the Municipal Development District Plan #1 and Tax <br />Increment Financing Plan for District #3 are available from the <br />City Clerk at 515 Little Canada Road, the Little Canada City <br />Center, between the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through <br />Friday. <br />The public hearing will be held at 7:30 PM or as soon thereafter <br />as time permits on Wednesday, August 23, 1989, in the City <br />Council Chambers at 515 Little Canada Road.
