Mr. Paul Kaufman
19 September 1989
Page Two
5. The construction debris must be removed including the
concrete chunks which have been deposited on the site. The
concrete is to be ground off site, and a fill permit must be
applied for and approved. No permit exists for this
activity.
6. The dumpster on the site is to be removed immediately.
7. The barn -type storage shed is to be removed and, with site
plan approval from the City, replaced with a permanent
structure . in compliance with zoning district and building
code requirements.
8. The project complies with our review notes of 2 August 1989,
a copy of which is attached.
The Planning Commission has 60 days from the date of the original
consideration to forward a recommendation to the City Council.
This request was first heard by the Planning Commission on 10
August. Sixty days from that date would be 9 October after which
the Council may take up the matter without Planning Commission
action, which is considered by the Ordinance to be a denial
recommendation. The City Council may send it back to the
Planning Commission for further review. Mr. Lee has requested
that this item be placed on the 11 October Council agenda. Staff
is republishing a public hearing notice for that date. Staff is
also preparing follow up reports to the Planning Commission for
12 October if the Council elects to send it back to that group.
We would recommend that you be prepared for both possibilities.
If you have any questions as to these issues, please do not
hesitate to contact me at the number below. In addition, I am
scheduled to be at Little Canada City Hall for developer /staff
meetings on each Monday morning if you would like to meet with
me.
Cordially,
NORTHWEST ASSOCIATED CONSULTANTS, INC.
Ste en Grittman
Senior Designer
cc: John Palacio
Tom Sweeney
Larry Lee
Kathy Glanzer
Page 41
