MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />DECEMBER 14, 2005 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 14th day of <br />December, 2005 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Ms. Barbara Allan <br />Mr. John Keis <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Administrator <br />City ACtorney <br />City Planner <br />Cable TV Producer <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Mr. Thomas Sweeney <br />Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Mr. Brandon RickerC <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-72-283 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE NOVEMBER 23, 2005 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AND <br />THE DECEMBER 5, 2005 TRUTH IN TAXATION MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />VARIANCE Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the request <br />FOR for a Variance allowing a second driveway curb-cut for the <br />DRIVEWAY - property at 601 East County Road B-2, Mike and Heidi Murphy. <br />601 EAST Blesener noted that both the City Planner and the Planning <br />COUNTY Commission have recommended against the Variance on the basis <br />ROAD B-2 - that there is no hardship present. Blesener reviewed the variance <br />MURPHY evaluation criteria outlined in the City Planner's report, noting that the <br />Variance request would have to meet these terms of the ordinance in order <br />to be granted. Blesener stated that, as presented, the Variance request <br />would not meet the criteria for approval. <br />
