This is an opportune time to consider this improvement
because it ties In so well with the other entrance improvements and the Celebrate
Minnesota 1990 program. The City has budgetted $25,000 for entrance improvements,
part or all of which could be considered for a decorative railing, perhaps on a matching
basis with MNDOT.
If you are interested in considering a joint effort to install a decorative railing,
I would ask that you contact Bill Sanders (221- 0401), who is the City's Landscape
Architect working on the project.
Thank you for your consideration and I took forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Michael Fahey
Mayor
:dmn
PAGE 39
