NIGHT TO UNITE 2013 <br />PROCLAMATION <br />OF LITTLE CANADA <br />NIGHT toUNITE! <br />aeightrors Joining Togeuier <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association, along with AAA of Minnesota / Iowa is sponsoring <br />a nationwide crime prevention program on Tuesday, August 6th, 2013, entitled "Night to Unite "; and <br />WHEREAS, the "Night to Unite" provides a unique opportunity for the City of Little Canada to join forces with <br />thousands of other communities across the country in promoting cooperative, police - community erhne <br />prevention efforts; and <br />WHEREAS, Little Canada plays a vital role in assisting the Ramsey County Sheriffs Department through joint <br />crime prevention efforts in Little Canada and is supporting "Night to Unite 2013" locally; and <br />WHEREAS, it is essential that the citizens of Little Canada be aware of the importance of crime prevention <br />programs and the impact that their participation can have on reducing crime in Little Canada; and <br />WHEREAS, police - community partnerships, neighborhood safety, awareness and cooperation are important <br />themes of the "Night to Unite " program; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mayor Bill Blescner, and WE, Council Members, Shelly Boss, Michael McGraw, John <br />Keis, and Rick Montou, D() HEREBY CAI..L UPON ALL CITIZENS OF LITTLE CANADA, RAMSEY <br />COUN'T'Y, to join the RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPAR'T'MENT" the MINNESOTA CRIME <br />PREVENTION ASSOCIATION AND AAA OF MINNESOTA / IOWA in supporting the "Night to Unite" on <br />Tuesday, August 6th, 2013. <br />FURTHER, LET IT BE RESOLVED THAT I, Mayor Bill Biesener, and WE, Council Members, Shelly Boss, <br />Michael McGraw, John Keis, and Rick Montour, proclaim Tuesday, August 6th, 2013, as "Night to Unite" in <br />Little Canada, Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br />Mayor, Bill Blesener <br />Council Memhcr, Shelly Boss Council Member, Michael McGraw <br />Council Member, John Keis Council Member, Rick Montour <br />DATE <br />
