In reviewing the City's ordinances, the only <br />restrictions I can find would relate to the prohibition of <br />the sale of liquor between 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. (10:00 <br />a.m. on Sundays) and the operation of an amusement center <br />with restricted hours coinciding with those imposed by the <br />sale of liquor. <br />it is my understanding that in the past the City has had <br />concerns regarding the hours of operation of certain <br />establishments. Also, the Council may want to review this <br />request in light of the proposed changes in the Sheriff's <br />Department formula increasing the emphasis on the number of <br />events occurring within our jurisdiction. <br />I have asked Mr. Schwartz to attend Wednesday's meeting in <br />order that he may discuss this with the City Council. I <br />have also discussed this matter with Tom Sweeney.
