The
results are as follows:
Arden Hills - Advertises all part -time and seasonal positions.
No preference is given to part -time or seasonal
employees when full -time positions become
available.
Maplewood - When part -time, seasonal, or full -time positions
become available, this city posts the positions
for two weeks to current employees. If there is no
interest from qualified employees, the City will then
advertise the position. If the position can be
filled with a qualified employee, the position is not
advertised. Seasonal employees are asked to return
before a seasonal position is advertised.
Roseville - This city advertises all part -time, seasonal, and
full -time positions with no preference given to
part -time employees seeking full -time positions.
Shoreview - When part -time, seasonal, or full -time positions
become available, this city posts the positions
for five days to current employees. If there is no
interest from qualified employees, the City will then
advertise the position. If the position can be
filled with a qualified employee, the position is not
advertised. Seasonal employees are asked to return
before a seasonal position is advertised.
Page 64
