Administrator <br />515 Little Canada Road <br />Little Canada, MN 55117 <br />612.484-2177 <br />FAX: 6124844538 <br />May 7, 1990 <br />HAND DELIVERED <br />Mr. Frank Frattalone <br />Frattalone Excavating <br />3066 Spruce Street <br />Little Canada, MN 55117 <br />RE: Recycling Operation <br />Dear Mr. Frattalone: <br />MAYOR <br />Michel F•h•y <br />COUNCIL <br />8••rlY $c lz• <br />8,11 Bl•s•n•r <br />Rick Colle• <br />Jim L.V•Il• <br />Pursuant to City Council action taken at their regular <br />Council meeting of April 25, 1990, I am hereby writing to <br />inform you that no additional recycling material is to be <br />hauled into your stockpiling site located in the Ryan <br />Industrial Park until the impact of this operation on <br />adjacent properties has been studied by the City's Engineer <br />and the City Council has taken action upon his report. <br />Mr. Michael Lynch of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & <br />Associates is presently researching this topic. <br />Furthermore, pursuant to your recent conversation with <br />Council Member Jim LaValle, this topic has been scheduled <br />for City Council discussion at the meeting of May 9, 1990. <br />At that time, you may present your concerns regarding the <br />City Council's directive. The City Engineer may also have <br />some preliminary information which could assist the Council <br />in dealing with this matter. <br />While I realize the inconvenience this may cause for your <br />business, I would ask that you comply with this request <br />until the Council determines otherwise. Please keep in <br />mind that in addition to the concerns of this activity on <br />adjoining properties, zoning regulations also need to be <br />addressed. It is my understanding that the recycling <br />enterprise you now have in place is not a permitted use <br />under the City's Zoning Ordinance. <br />Page 4 <br />
