HANSON, Administrator <br />515 Little Canada Road <br />Little Canada, MN 55117 <br />612. 484-2177 <br />FAX: 612- 4844538 <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor Fahey and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />DATE: June 5, 1990 <br />RE: Pioneer Park Architectural Fees <br />At our last Council meeting, we approved an amendment to <br />RVK Architects' Pioneer Park building contract. <br />Specifically, we approved an additional $3,267 in fees <br />payable to RVK conditioned on the fact that this amount <br />would not be remitted until the completion of the project. <br />Mr. Dick Krumm, representing RVK, has requested we modify <br />our decision whereby we would withhold 10% of the total <br />contract amount instead of the additional amount approved. <br />With a total contract amount of $14,967, he is requesting <br />we withhold $1,497 rather than $3,267. He states his <br />request is based on the original agreement between the City <br />and his firm. It should be noted that I found no written <br />documentation supporting this 10% withholding. <br />If the Council is agreeable with Mr. Krumm's request, a <br />motion would have to be made reducing the withholding of <br />architects' fees until project completion from $3,267 to <br />$1,497.
