2. The exact location of the premises upon which the <br />applicant proposes to operate a tavern. <br />3. Whether the applicant has ever been engaged in a <br />similar business and, if so, the location thereof and <br />the date when so engageu. <br />4. Whether the applicant proposes to afford the privilege <br />of dancing to this guests or whether vaudeville <br />entertainment will be afforded or whether both will be <br />provided. In case the applicant proposes to afford the <br />public the privilege of dancing, the application shall <br />set forth the amount of floor space available which the <br />applicant proposes to maintain for dancing purposes. <br />702.050. LICENSE FEE. The applicant shall deposit with the <br />City Clerk at the time of the filing of his application, the sum <br />of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) which sum is hereby set as a <br />license fee to operate a tavern, and the City Clerk shall <br />thereupon deliver to such applicant duplicate receipts therefor <br />containing a statement of the purpose for which such deposit was <br />made and one of said receipts shall be attached to and filed with <br />said application. <br />702.060. INSPECTION OF PREMISES. The Council shall direct <br />such investigation of said application as it may deem necessary, <br />and the applicant shall permit the representatives of any City <br />Department to inspect and examine the place of business described <br />in the application together with all the appliances and <br />instruments used or to be used in the transaction of the business <br />for which a license is sought, and upon receipt of such report, <br />the Council shall thereafter consider the application and grant <br />or deny the same. <br />702.070. PERIOD OF LICENSE. Licenses herein provided for <br />shall run until the following July 1st, and if for a period <br />shorter than one (1) year, the license fee shall be prorated on a <br />monthly basis. <br />PAGE 123 <br />
