Hanson, City Administrator <br />FROM: Kathy Glanzer <br />RE: Park Commission Meeting of June 21st <br />MAYOR <br />Michael Fahey <br />COUNCIL <br />Beverly Sceize <br />Bill Blesener <br />Rick Collova <br />Jim LeValle <br />At their June 21st meeting, the Park Commission made the following <br />recommendations for consideration by the Council on June 27th: <br />Recommendation to accept the Servants of Mary planting <br />project for Pioneer Park based on the low bid received <br />from Graystone Landscaping, Inc. in the amount of $8,090.14 <br />with Servants of Mary to pay the contractor directly, and <br />the City to administer the contract. <br />Recommendation to accept the low bid for tree planting <br />submitted by Southview Design and Construction Inc. in the <br />amount of $11,275.00 in conjunction with the Celebrate MN <br />improvements for Little Canada Road. <br />Recommendation to accept the low bid for purchase of three <br />flagpoles submitted by Eder Flag Manufacturing Company, Inc. <br />in the amount of $3,688.40 in conjunction with the Celebrate <br />MN improvements for Little Canada Road. <br />Recommendation to accept the bid for purchase of decorative <br />light poles and fixtures as well as banner poles submitted by <br />Lighting Associates, Inc. in the amount of $13,434.00 in <br />conjunction with the Celebrate MN improvements for Little <br />Canada Road. <br />Recommendation to order a survey of the area between Greenbrier <br />and Arcade Streets for use in preparing plans for extension of <br />the Thunder Bay trail. <br />PAGE 154 <br />
