MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 15, 1999 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Fahey, Scalze, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RE.SOL UTION NO. 99-12-261- DENYING THE VARIANCE FRONT <br />DISTANCE SEPARATION REQUIREMENTS FOR AUTO SALES <br />LOTS FOR 3161-3167 SPRUCE STREET AS REQUESTED BY <br />VALOR ENTERPRISES BASED ON THE FACT THAT THIS <br />REQ UEST DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS AS SET <br />FORTH IN THE CODE, AND TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AUTO SALES LOT PENDING A <br />RECOMMENDATION FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON <br />A TEXT AMENDMENT RELATIVE TO RESTRICTIONS FOR AUTG <br />SALES LOTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />AMEND Fahey opened the public hearing to consider amending the Zoning Code <br />PU;3LIC allowing outdoor storage of wood chips as an interim use in the Public (P) <br />DISTRICT District. The Planning Commission has recommended approval of this <br />amendment subject to the amendment to Item 8 designating the City <br />Council as the entity to determine whether a site becomes a nuisance. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by Pedersen, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RES07_UTION NO. 99-I2-262 -AMENDING THE ZONING CODE <br />ALLOWING FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE OF WOOD CHIPS AS AN <br />INTERIM USE IN THE PUBLIC (P) DISTRICT SUBJECT TO THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, LaValle, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />14 <br />
