ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 701.010, AND ADDING SECTION 701.025 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, REGULATING TEMPORARY ON -SALE LICENSES FOR NON - INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 701.010 of the Municipal Code of the City of Little Canada is hereby amended to read as follows: 701. NON - INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR 701.010. TYPES OF LICENSES. It shall be unlawful to sell non - intoxicating malt liquors at retail except when licensed as hereinafter provided. There shall be three (3) types of licenses issued for the sale of non- intoxicating malt liquors, as hereinafter set out, namely: (a) "On -Sale" licenses shall permit the licensee to sell non - intoxicating malt liquors for consumption on the premises. "On -Sale" licenses shall be granted only to restaurants, hotels, drug stores and bona fide clubs. "Off -Sale" licenses shall permit the licensee to sell non - intoxicating malt liquors for consumption off the premises only. "Temporary On -Sale" licenses shall permit the licensee to sell non - intoxicating malt liquors for consumption on the premises the licensee owns or permanently occupies for a period not to exceed three (3) consecutive days. "Temporary On -Sale" licenses shall be granted only to organizations organized for social purposes, business purposes, for intellectual improvement, or for the promotion of sports where the serving of non - intoxicating malt liquor is incidental to and not the main purpose of the organization, or to charitable, religious or non- profit organizations. Section 2. Section 701.025 is hereby added to the Municipal Code of the City of Little Canada, to read as follows: 701.025. WRITTEN APPLICATION - TEMPORARY ON -SALE LICENSES.
