ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 816.040 OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RELATING TO USER FEES FOR FALSE ALARMS <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 816.040 of the Municipal Code of the City of Little <br />Canada is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />816.040. USER FEES. <br />(A) An alarm user, whose alarm system has resulted in <br />the reporting of four (4) or more false alarms because of the <br />operation of a burglar alarm, shall be charged the following <br />user fees: <br />(1) If four (4) through nine (9) false alarms <br />relating to the operation of a burglar alarm have been reported <br />in any calendar year, commencing January 1, 1990, the user fee <br />shall be Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each such false alarm. <br />(2) If more than nine (9) false alarms relating <br />to the operation of a burglar alarm have been reported in any <br />calendar year, commencing January 1, 1990, the user fee shall be <br />One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) for each such false alarm. <br />(B) An alarm user, whose alarm system has resulted in <br />the reporting of four (4) or more false alarms because of the <br />operation of a fire alarm, shall be charged the following user <br />fees: <br />(1) If four (4) through six (6) false alarms <br />relating to the operation of a fire alarm have been reported in <br />any calendar year, commencing January 1, 1990, the user fee <br />shall be Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) for each such false <br />alarm. <br />(2) If more than six (6) false alarms relating <br />to the operation of a fire alarm have been reported in any <br />calendar year, commencing January 1, 1990, the user fee shall be <br />Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each such false alarm. <br />Section 2. <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after its passage and publication. <br />Page 25 <br />
